Football Manager Handheld 2007 is the perfect way to enjoy your favourite management sim on the go and takes portable management gaming to the next level. Take charge of the team of your choice and embark on an epic journey to the top of the football world.
To make Football Manager Handheld 2007 as user friendly for both new and experienced Football Manager fans alike we've added many new features, but perhaps the most obvious decision we made was to improve the tree menu, which sits snugly on the left hand side of the screen. We refer to it as a Tree menu because it branches off to various parts of the game and it's now easier to use for navigation, with the "tabs" giving instant access to areas vital to the day to day running of a football club - things such as Training, Transfers, media and player stats. Which all help speed up the process of jumping around and managing all the aspects of your football club.
Football Manager handheld 2007 now allows you to get to the very core of the game and allows you to edit teams and players in a number of ways.
Are you tired of taking control of you favourite team and always having to start at the bottom? Well now with the simple to use editing system your team can start the game at the very top, challenging for trophies and fighting to sign big name players.
Alternatively if you're a fan of an already successful team and want to start at the other end of the spectrum you can chose to demote your club and challenge yourself to get them back to the big time. Should you want to, you can change player names and stats and there's the possibility to upload logos, images and competition screens to provide a more realistic touch.
All this can be done by accessing you PSP memory stick via a PC and adding your desired changes in a note pad document to the directory PSP/COMMON/FMH.
To add images simply select the jpeg you wish to attach to a league or club and format it to a 30x60 resolution, placing it on a transparent background. After that name it after the club or league you want it affiliated with and move it on the memory stick under the directory PICTURE/FMHCLUBS or PICTURE/FMHCOMPETITONS
Football Manager Handheld 2007 also offers a multi-player network mode allowing you to take on a friend and test your managerial strengths over a match series. Be sure to make the right tactical choices as one wrong decision could cost you bragging rights. To do this simply select the network mode from the main menu and see who's up for a game in you area.
Football Manager Handheld 2007 now allows you to send out multiple scouts at the same time, which gives you more time to find a future legend during the short transfer period.
By selecting the Player search and then Scouts settings from the tree menu you will be able to assign a maximum of two scouts to any area of the world to look for players who can improve the fortunes of your club. After that your scouts will continually update you on the status of their search via news items, advising you who to snap up and who to avoid.
We've also updated the player search, which now allows you to customise player searches accordingly. This is something that can be useful when looking for a player who can perform for you in one particular area but doesn't need to excel in others.
