Well this month has been rather eventful for Football Manager Fans all over the world with the release of both a new patch and data update and a new game from Sports Interactive in the form of FM Quiz Mobile. However Sports Interactive haven't been the only people working hard, here's a look at what the online community has been producing this month.

This month's site of the month is Pitchside, a small site offering a wide range of interesting and helpful guides to various areas of FM2007. This month the site has done brilliantly and updated with a helpful collection of guides to managing in the South American nations, a look at both defending and scoring from corners and an investigation into the way players develop through the game depending on the type of player and training involved.

This months article of the month comes from the site of the month Pitchside, and comes in the form of a fantastic bit of research into the physical development and decline of players in Football Manager, in order to properly assess how best to train your players as well as look at the effect injuries, training and the number of matches played have on a players development.

Download Of The Month
Following the release of the 7.0.2 patch, the race was on for the various community add ons to be updates. The quickest has to be FM Genie, which even followed up its release with a whole new site dedicated to the program and a wide range of new features.
FM Genie is an alternative to the search engine in Football Manager and allows you to search the entire database via a wide range of options and even includes hidden information and stats which the game doesn't show you. Although using the tool is usually considered a form of cheating, so avoid it if you don't wish to go down that road.
