FM 2006 Nominated For Golden Joystick Award

Football Manager 2006 may land one of the industry's most prestigious awards, as it has been nominated for a Golden Joystick award for the PC Game of the Year.

FM 2006 became the second fastest PC game of all time, heading straight to No. 1 in the UK games charts, providing legendary developers Sports Interactive with another smash hits - the game also crossed the bridge and moved onto two new platforms earlier this year on the PSP and Xbox 360, and FM 2007 is due for release before Christmas on all platforms including for the first time the Intel Mac.

The final results of the Golden Joystick Awards will be unveiled at the glitzy award ceremony, held at London's Park Lane Hilton hotel on Friday, 27th October 2006. This year, for the first time ever, the Golden Joystick Awards will be webcast live on the computerandvideogames.com website.
